The Bear Season 3 Sets Hulu Record with 5.4 Million Views in 4 Days

Season 3 of “The Bear” has shattered records, becoming the best-performing FX premiere on Hulu. Released on June 26, the show garnered an impressive 5.4 million streams within its first four days, according to Disney, setting a new benchmark for scripted series on the platform.

Record-breaking premiere and Viewership Growth

“The Bear” continues to attract high viewership numbers, showing a solid 24% increase for Season 3 following its successful 70% viewership growth for Season 2. The series now ranks as the third biggest season premiere of all time on Hulu and the most streamed scripted FX premiere. Additionally, it holds the title of the biggest Hulu on Disney premiere, marking a significant achievement in the OTT space.

Streaming Availability and International Success

The show is available for streaming on all Hulu and Disney+ accounts in the US, as well as on Disney+ in select international regions. According to Disney, securing streaming rights for “The Bear” on Hulu was a key factor in the show’s widespread success.

Returning Cast and New Faces

Season 3 brings back familiar faces, including Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Cousin Richie. Will Poulter returns as Luca and Olivia Colman reprises her role as Chef Andrea Terry? This season also features cameos from John Cena as Sammy Fak and appearances by real-life celebrity chefs, adding to the show’s star power.

Plot and Reception

“The Bear” Season 3, created by Christopher Storer and Joanna Calo, focuses on the chaotic early days following the restaurant’s opening. The rising pressures within the team create tension, particularly between Sydney and Carmy. While the season received mixed reviews from fans, some felt it served as a filler in anticipation of Season 4, the show’s overall success and viewership growth highlight its continuing popularity.

“The Bear” Season 3 has set new records and continues to captivate audiences with its dynamic storytelling and stellar performances. With its strong viewership numbers and critical acclaim, the show solidifies its place as one of the top series on Hulu and Disney+. As fans eagerly await the next installment, “The Bear” remains a significant player in the streaming landscape.
